Demi Moore Released From Hospital, 911 Call To Be Edited For Drug References

Demi Moore: now is the time to just do you. And only do you. According to E! Online, Moore has allegedly left Sherman Oaks Hospital in L.A. after being admitted on Monday; the Margin Call actress reportedly received treatment after suffering seizure-like symptoms, a crisis which prompted a late night 911 call. The site also confirms that Ashton Kutcher will be returning to the city from his trip to Brazil today, which begs the question: would you be helped or hindered by a visit from Ashton Kutcher after having a seizure? Think about it. You don’t have to answer right away.

While we’re glad to hear Demi is almost certainly recuperating on the couch in her Forever Lazy, TMZ alleges that the 911 call made on her behalf must be edited to remove drug references before being released to the public. The L.A. City Attorney allegedly recommended that the clip be redacted to protect Moore’s patient confidentiality. Sounds like a reasonable, ethical decision…that implies all sorts of bummer scenarios about Demi’s hospitalization. If true, the City Attorney’s decision could lend credence to the claim that Moore was using nitrous oxide (or some other recreational substance) prior to her medical emergency. So…maybe hold off on that visit for a little while, Ashton. Everyone loves a Edible Arrangement, is all we’re saying.

Um…what? Who? Where? How? Wha…what? We guess we faintly recall how hot Ashton Kutcher was during his That ’70s Show days, but we didn’t, you know, remember. Our memories were obscured by all that Topher Grace! Speaking alongside his Two and A Half Men co-stars at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena today, a freshly-cropped Ashton somehow pulled a reverse Sampson: he cut his hair and gained the strength of a million lady boners. While Ashton might have decided to ditch his flowing chestnut locks and thermal face blanket, there is one item he conspicuously kept on him…

Who Should Katy Perry And Russell Brand Date Next?

Look, we’re all feeling pretty bummed about Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s divorce, but it’d be a shame to let all those Spandex dresses and extremely tight man vests languish in the closet for too long. It’s only been a few days, but we’re going to go ahead and gently push these baby birds out of their break-up Snuggies and back into the dating world. Besides Rihanna and Florence Welch, of course, here are our recommendations for the very special men and women that can distract Katy and Russell from their respective heartaches. Or at least show them a good time. And, at the end of the day, isn’t that basically the same thing?

If Katy is looking for something casual and fun after the pain of a divorce, there are few men as casual and fun as Ashton Kutcher. Maybe a little too casual and fun, so clearly this is for rebounding only. If Katy’s into something a little more long term, might we suggest Jonah Hill? He’s looking real good this year, she probably already knows him from Russell’s work in Get Him To The Greek and we are 98% he’s not a former drug and sex addict. If Perry is hoping for a collabo both into and outside the bedroom, she and Drake could definitely make beautiful music together. Beautiful boning music.

As for Brand’s future lady friend, the first answer is obvious: Helen Mirren. Russell and the Dame have been publicly flirting forever. Yes, we know Helen is technically married, but she also has an Oscar for Best Actress. We’re pretty sure that gives her a freebie. It’s in the Academy’s bylaws. If Helen’s husband isn’t down with that, might we suggest Rashida Jones? Not only is the woman stunning, she’s also sardonic and smart as a whip, two qualities that a dry wit like Brand might be into. If Russell’s looking for ladies who skew more Perry-esque, Zooey Deschanel is single, ready-to-mingle, and basically looks like Katy in a Peter Pan collar. If it’s the catsuits and vocal gymnastics Russell likes, Jessie J has star power similar to his ex. Plus the woman even looks good in an air cast! What do you think? Who would you set Katy and Russell up with, if you were a less horrible version of Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger?

The 45 Biggest Celebrity Breakups Of 2011

Love never dies, but it sure took a battering this year! Celebrity couples of every age and stripe dropped like flies in 2011! From long-term unions like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, all the way down to the ones that can be measured in a television season (*cough* Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries *cough*), Hollywood could have used a giant couples’ therapy session. There were affairs, secret children, super fights, Twitter drama, ugly court cases and sometimes all of those combined. For these couples it wasn’t domestic bliss but domestic blitz! But don’t feel bad if you’ve made the list, guys. Just think of it as a giant singles ad. (You’re welcome!)

25 Apologies We’ll Fondly Remember From 2011

In the age of Twitter, it’s pretty amazing that more celebrities aren’t putting their foot in it these days. But enough of our favorite (or least favorite) actors, musicians and other public figures managed to say and do the kind of awful things that simultaneously give publicists strokes and keep them in business. After those awful things come the kind of public apologies that make us cringe, squirm and thank god we’re not in their shoes. From Chris Brown to Gilbert Gottfried, Arnold Schwarzenegger to Lea Michele, Hilary Swank to Mythbusters, we had a lot of Schadenfreude to enjoy in 2011. We’re pretty sure the culprits would like us to forget these moments, but here’s a little gallery to remind you:

Demi Moore Is Maybe Mad At The Wrong People

The moment Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher announced their split, fans and media took all the attention they’d been spending speculating on whether they’d divorce and diverted it to new important issues like when Demi would change her @mrskutcher Twitter handle and what the new name would be. Well, Ms. Moore, apparently has better ways to spend her time.

“Changing my twitter name isn’t a top priority right now. sorry it bothers so many of u. should I not tweet until I do?does it really matter?” she wrote in a tetchy post last night.

Jeez, Demi, don’t snap at us! We’re not the ones who cheated on you with a 22-year-old.

Still, we recognize that this is a tricky issue. On the one hand, divorce is a very private matter, and we’re sure she’s in mourning over her marriage. On the other, Demi’s and Ashton’s tweets to each other (often written while they were on the couch together) seemed to make their relationship public property. Now, she wants her followers to take a step back, give her some space and let her take her time during this transition. Fair enough, Dems. But we feminists also want you to show the world, eventually, that your Twitter is just fine on its own.

Lea Michele Sparkles, Stars Shine On New Year’s Eve Red Carpet

Lea Michele nailed it at the world premiere of New Year’s Eve in L.A. She picked this Valentino gown with Christian Louboutin shoes and Neil Lane jewels and hasn’t made one bad decision from head to toe. While she looked elegant, she couldn’t resist hamming it up with Ashton Kutcher (who really needs a haircut) on the red carpet, as you can see above. Looking a lot more streamlined in his suit was Zac Efron, who doesn’t seem to have a bad angle.

We’ve always loved Michelle Pfeiffer whose 53-year-old body looked amazing in a purple Dolce & Gabbana dress, but we aren’t too sure of the matchy-matchy purple pumps that went with the outfit. Wearing the same designer was Katherine Heigl, and while she looked good in her strapless dress, that hair took the attention away. We’re not sure many people can pull off a bouffant bob. Take note, Katy. Also seen were Hilary Swank in a navy, lacy Elie Saab dress, Fergie who piled on the sparkles in Monique Lhuillier and Sofia Vergara in a corseted black sexpot number. How Does Demi’s Alleged New Man Stack Up To Ashton?

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s divorce was only made public two weeks ago, but if rumors are true (and we love it when they are), Demi is allegedly stepping out with another gentleman caller just days after the ink on her legal documents have dried. The man is question is reportedly Demi’s long-time friend Scott-Vincent Borba. “Demi and Scott-Vincent started dating last week”, a source reported to RadarOnline. “They have known each other for a long time and he’s really been there for her by her side through the whole Ashton thing … he’s head over heel for Demi and there’s definitely potential for a lasting relationship between them.” We obviously want Demi to find solace in whichever pair of arms the girl sees fit, but how does Scott-Vincent compare to Demi’s soon-to-be ex? Demi Moore Files For Divorce From Ashton Kutcher: Report

Multiple reports are coming in as we speak stating that Demi Moore has filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, after six years of marriage.

Not that anyone’s surprised, mind you. We are still sad, however. After all, we hoped that camping trip and those Kabbalah center visits were working to heal the wounds opened after Ashton’s much-publicized tryst with Sara Leal. Not to mention the ones inflicted by totally unsourced rumors that Ashton was the father of January Jones’ baby.

“As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” Demi said in a statement.

Shortly after the announcement, Ashton tweeted, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”
