20 Adorable Couples Being Adorable To Get You In The Valentine’s Mood

Happy Valentine’s Day! Or not, depending on how you feel about the holiday. And listen, we know there are a lot of singletons out there who are not so pleased about how much we in the media focus on this holiday. But we can’t help it, OK? We cover divorces and breakdowns and deaths and fights all the time, and it’s really nice to have a day that’s all about the important things in life. (No, not the unveiling of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, though that’s nice too.) We just really want to escape from it all and look at Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez nuzzling each other. We would like to soak in the happiness that is Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen’s love, bask in Jay-Z and Beyonce’s adorable glory, shiver with delight at the perpetual hotness of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and marvel at the lasting power of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. We are hoping some of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s world-saving affection will rub off on us. And we’re even going to allow for some admiration of Tom Brady and Gisele Bunchen, football loyalties aside.

But here’s some good news for you black-hearted V-day haters: The last time we did a best couples gallery, back in December, one of those couples announced their divorce a few days later. Oh, no! What have we done?!?

30 Oscar Winners Who Have Also Been Nominated For Razzies

Do your movies keep filling up the direct-to-DVD dollar bin? Do they often complete the phrase “the worst film since…”? Do they make less money than we did that time we went to a Coinstar? Well, don’t let that get you down, because you could still be in the running for Oscar glory! Every year, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation names the most terrible films and performances of the year. Sure, it’s gotta hurt to be named the absolute worst of Hollywood, but just know that you’re in surprisingly good company. Black Gowns Galore On The 2012 SAG Awards Red Carpet

Classic black never goes out of style. There may have been a fair amount of neutrals and grays and bold colors on the 2012 Sag Awards red carpet last night, but black actually outnumbered them all. None of the gowns veered towards goth territory, either, as all the styles went the romantic or slightly edgy route.

We saw drapes on the likes of Melissa McCarthy’s Badgley Mischka, Archie Panjabi’s one-shouldered Carolina Herrera and Angelina Jolie’s Jenny Packham halter-necked gown. The latter was a little too safe for our liking. Wearing the same designer was Ashlee Simpson, whose dress was similar to the number Vanessa Hudgens wore to the People’s Choice Awards. No contest here: Ashlee wore the better version.

Amber Heard killed it in a Zac Posen cut-out dress and guess who wore the same designer? Glenn Close! She rocked that gown and her compatriot Jessica Lange did the same in a slinky sequined David Meister number. Both the ladies are still so sexy in their 60s! Joining the sequin brigade was Jayma Mays‘ beautiful Reem Acra gown with a dramatic demi-train. We saw a lot of lace overlay as well, whether it was in Amber Riley’s Badgley Mischka, Stacy Keibler’s Marchesa or Emma Stone’s custom Alexander McQueen. We’d also like to hand out top marks to our favourite 30 Rock ladies for bringing on the fabulous. Tina Fey looked very sexy in her vintage Versace gown as did Jane Krakowski in Antonio Berardi. Everyone did really good here, and black was anything but boring. The only celebrity we wish had upped the stakes was Glee’s Heather Morris. Her half-sheer Masai Payan dress just didn’t work.

Brad And Angie Won’t “Be Able To Hold Out” For Marriage Equality

Brad Pitt, you beautiful, talented liar! How can we trust anything that comes out of your fine-boned face now? “We’d actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids,” the Oscar nominee admitted to The Hollywood Reporter about his plans to lock it down with Angelina Jolie. “We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out. ” We are outraged at your fibbing, Brad! No, we’re just kidding with you. Are we? Kind of?

Turns out that the six Jolie-Pitt kids have managed to pick up some conventional romantic ideas about relationships, despite having two unconventional parents. “They have asked, yeah, because … people get married in the movies,” Pitt says. Movies like Mrs. & Mr. Smith, for example? Hoisted by your own petard, Brad! Now that we think of it, holding out for gay marriage doesn’t seem quite so gallant when both parties have been married before. Twice. And to Billy Bob Thornton. “But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous,” concluded Brad. Alright…we’ll let this one slide, but we expect one sick wedding dress, Angie. Do not let us down again.

The Golden Globes Back Story: 20 Of The Sexiest Backs On The Red Carpet

Swooping cowls, cut-outs, drapes, racer-backs, sheer lace work … Golden Globe gowns were as sexy from the back as they were in front this year. Whether it was Lea Michele‘s sheer silver Marchesa to co-star Dianna Agron’s and Evan Rachel Wood’s avian-inspired, red-hot lacy Giles Deacon dress and Gucci Premiere emerald gown, respectively —- the back is officially back. A couple of other favorites include a Glee actress again. Naya Rivera stunned in a silver Vera Wang gown which had a lovely keyhole back. We also truly appreciated the back view of Kathleen Robertson’s Maria Lucia Hohan dress, Stacey Keibler’s stunning Valentino, Kate Beckinsale’s Roberto Cavalli and Heidi Klum’s sexy Calvin Klein. Golden Globes Red Carpet: The 20 Best-Dressed

We saw a whole lot of cray, even more neutrals and a healthy splattering of color on the red carpet at the Golden Globes tonight. And our favorites of the bunch come from all of the above categories. We weren’t too surprised that Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron and Reese Witherspoon topped the list — after all, they’ve had a lot of practice at these things — but we hardly could have predicted their dresses. Olivier Martinez’s Life-Long Search For The Perfect Woman Is Over; Halle Wins

Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry might be headed down the aisle soon if rumors are true, but Halle certainly isn’t Olivier’s first stunningly gorgeous lady friend. Or his first Academy Award-winning lovah. Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino and Kylie Minogue are just a few of the beautiful, talented, internationally known women Olivier has wooed in his lifetime. Ex Minogue even tweeted, “Congrats to Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry!! #wedding” today, rather than, say, “Burn in hell, Olivier #forever,” which seems like a great sign.

Now, we know we’re not genetically perfect or have Oscars lining or trophy case or anything, but if our ex had even so much as held hands Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, we’d have to hang up our dating pants right then and there. But this is Halle Berry, people! Not even starring in Catwoman can break her stride. Not even Catwoman.

Angeline Jolie Shows Us Who’s Boss In Leather

Oh look, it’ the sexy librarian! Only Angelina Jolie could wear a white blouse and leather skirt and still look so unbelievably hot. Full marks for the jade pendant and the killer pumps too. Angie and Brad Pitt were at the 77th Annual New York Film Critics Awards Gala in New York last night and rocked up looking like — that. BTW, that cane Brad’s toting around? That’s not a fashion statement, although we really wish it was. It’s due to an injury, as he revealed over the weekend, “I was carrying my daughter (Vivienne) down the hill and I slipped. It was either her or me.” Angelina also added that it hasn’t slowed him down, saying, “I like the cane. He’s not that kind of guy. He does everything still.” With his cane, and her leather, this may stray into kinky territory.

The 30 Cutest Couples Of 2011 *That Aren’t Robsten

We’re gonna level with you, dear readers. Here at the FABLife, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will get our vote for the cutest couple every year until the end of time. That’s just the way it goes! So, to make it fair for all of the other adorable love birds out there, we’ve taken them out of the competition. But we’ve made Robsten the gold standard by which we measure and rank the rest of the sweethearts! So please Twihards, don’t send us angry letters.

Sure, 2011 was largely seen as the Year of the Breakup. That doesn’t mean love didn’t flourish! We’ve asked stars who they think should earn the title of “Cutest Couple 2k11,” and their answers ranged from the predicable, to the, err … not so predictable. Tehmina Sunny and Amadou Ly both share our Robsten 4Lyfe sentiments, whereas David Cook and Chelsea Rendon were more Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber people. Roots drummer Questlove was pumped that puppet pals Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy got back together in the Muppets reboot, while Robin Thicke felt that Charlie Sheen and his nose candy made the perfect duo. New Marie Claire Pictures Show Us Sides Of Angelina Jolie We’ve Never Seen

We already heard snippets from Angelina Jolie’s Marie Claire January cover story. She revealed bits about her home life like, “Well, I have a few girlfriends. I just … I stay at home a lot. I don’t do a lot with them, and I’m very homebound.” The interview is very Angelina, if you know what we mean, but the new batch of photographs from the shoot took us by surprise. The actress is gorgeous, as per usual, but the black-and-white pictures show a lighter side of her. She looks relaxed, and even pulls some faces at the camera. Very different from her normal, carefully crafted image, and we couldn’t help clicking through the whole slideshow.
