50 Cent And Chaka Khan Get Cozy At VH1 Divas While Announcing A Project

There was one unplanned “duet” at the taping of VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul (airing Monday, Dec. 19 at 9/8c) that had everybody talking last night: 50 Cent and Chaka Khan. The powerhouse duo, more than two decades apart in age, showed up on the red carpet entwined in each other’s arms. When questioned by VH1 News correspondent Janell Snowden, fiddy explained: “I’ve always been a fan of Chaka Khan and I reached out and asked her if I could attend with her tonight.”

“We met last week officially for the first time,” said Chaka. “But we’ve loved each other’s music and we’ve loved each other’s art form forever.” The sight of the two looking like lovebirds sparked plenty of chatter on the web, with some sites like the notoriously inaccurate MediaTakeOut claiming the two are full-on dating.

While we all know the adage “love knows no boundaries,” we’re wondering if their cuddling was a playful way to make some noise while announcing a joint project together. “We’re working together,” admitted 50 Cent to MTV News. “We’re working on a project, hit music.” It will be “big things,” added Chaka. We can’t wait.

When VH1 Diva performer Jessie J stopped by to chat with our red carpet host La La Anthony about her jaw-dropping outfit, she explained: “I sat with Falguni and Shane Peacock and I explained to them that I need a dress that’s skin tight that makes me feel like a diva.” Mission accomplished, thrice! Her red carpet number, a sheer black dress with gold embroidery and crucifix imagery, was one of the most talked-about outfits of the night, possibly because it made only a feeble attempt to cover her bra and panties — although she sure kept her feet modest with that black curtain.

It would be hard to overstate how much Apple co-founder Steve Jobs transformed our lives, from getting a mouse into our hands to introducing the touch screen, from how we listen to music to how we talk face-to-face on our mobile phones. In the end, Jobs definitely delivered on his “Think Different” advertising slogan. Report: Ashton Kutcher Cheats On Demi Moore, Divorce Battle Ahead

Star is reporting that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are gearing up for a divorce battle worth $290 million. The tabloid says the cause is that Ashton is a serial cheater, and had a fling with a 23-year-old non-celebrity named Sara Leal (pictured) — on his sixth wedding anniversary, no less. Gossip site The Dirty claims it received an e-mail from Sara’s friend, detailing the dirty deed:

I’m sick to my stomach over what happen last Friday night. Like most people on earth I worshiped Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore until Ashton Kutcher f*cked my friend Sara Leal at 4:30AM technically Saturday morning in his room on the 12 floor at the Hardrock Hotel in San Diego. Ashton Kutcher told Sara Leal that him and Demi Moore are separated and the public doesn’t know yet. Smooth line Ashton, she was going to f*ck you anyway.

Last year, Ashton was accused of delivering some “smooth lines” to Brittney Jones too, although he denied having an affair with her. Many speculated that Ashton, 33, and Demi, 48, would never last because of their age difference. They may have been right. But six years is probably five years longer than most Hollywood marriages.

Four major Hollywood actresses heated up the 2011 Oscars red carpet by wearing red gowns. Co-host Anne Hathaway (in Valentino) and Sandra Bullock (in Vera Wang) both look classically sexy in strapless numbers with modest trains and matching red lipstick. Presenter Jennifer Hudson, in a Versace gown that’s more blood-orange than blood-red, went with a retro updo and cat eyes. But it was relative newbie Jennifer Lawrence who may have turned the most heads, possibly because her tight-fitting red Calvin Klein gown is the polar opposite from her Winter’s Bone look.
